Several years ago, a preacher from a distant town accepted a call from a church in Leeds. Some weeks after his arrival, he had an appointment that made him to board a bus to another part of the town. When he sat down,  he discovered that the driver had mistakenly given him his balance in excess of 50 pence. As he considered what to do, he thought within him, 'You'd  better give this money back. It would be wrong to keep it'. Then another thought came, "Oh, forget it, it's only 50p; who would worry about this little amount, afterall the bus company makes so much money on fares; they will never miss it. Accept it  as 'a gift from God' and keep quiet. "When he was getting down from the bus, he paused momentarily at the door, and then handed the 50p to the driver and said, 'Take; the balance you gave me was over'. The driver, with a smile, replied,'Aren't you the new  preacher in town?'  'Yes I am' he replied.'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about where to go to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I give you balance in excess. I'll worship with you at the church this Sunday. When the preacher stepped off the bus, he grabbed a nearby electric pole, looked up and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your  Son for 50 pence. Our lifestyles are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is just a subtle example of how much people watch us as Christians, and will put us to the test! Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your forehead and shoulders once you call yourself a Christian. 'Watch your thoughts;they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character.Watch your character; it becomes your destiny'.

How Defined Is Your Relationship ? ?

"Chinwe and Sam were course mates and fellowship members in the University.
 As a result, they were very close, always doing things together daily. Chinwe misconstrued this as being in a relationship.
Sam, on his own, was enjoying the friendship and was prepared to do
anything for chinwe, who did not hesitate to expose her past and future to sam.

But she never observed that Sam never told her about his own life.

All brothers that desired to marry chinwe thought she was already engaged to Sam.

After schooling, they were both posted to the North for service. As a result, they both exchanged regular visits.

After service, they returned to Lagos and got good employment.
Six months later, Sam sent his wedding invitation card to Chinwe, who was so affected that it landed her in the hospital.

When Sam was queried, he said he never thought of marrying
her as he was already engaged before meeting her. He concluded that he only saw her like his
younger sister and nothing more.

When Chinwe was confronted with the fact that sam never proposed marriage to her, she was dazed.It was then she realised her folly".

This is very common among youths. They assume about relationship most of the time,
thereby setting up themselves for great disappointment.

The danger is, everybody will assume you are engaged while you are hoping the brother is
taking his time and will propose soonest.

WHAT TO DO

1. As a lady, define all your relationships. If a brother is becoming too close without disclosing his intention, ask him what he wants from you.

2. Don't be too close to any brother to the point that people will start to insinuates.

3. Never allow a brother propose with proverbs or idioms to you. Pretend as if you don't know what
he is saying until he comes straight.
For example, if he says, "Let me be the umbrella on your head", tell him, "I am not in the sun and i do
not need an umbrella".

4. Avoid cooking for brothers unnecessarily. Most brothers love food and will do anything to keep
the source of their good food, even if it means pretending they are in love.

5. Do not help a brother by proposing for him.

ANY BROTHER THAT IS NOT BOLD ENOUGH TO PROPOSE TO YOU IS NOT OLD ENOUGH TO BE
YOUR HUSBAND. Brothers should be bold to propose simply, concisely and directly without
proverbs or idioms.

6. Get a direct "YES" or "NO" from a lady; do not assume..

Acts 1:8.... But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem,

The Holy Spirit has come upon u, infact He's inside you and you are filled with power..But are you witnessing for Christ?
God placed you in that firm to witness for Him, God placed you as a lawyer in that Chamber to witness for Him, God placed you as a doctor or nurse in that hospital to tell those patients how great His love is for them, God placed you in that bank to win those Alhajis for his Kingdom , You are an Engineer because u are to engineer souls for his Kingdom, You are a farmer to brings souls to His Kingdom.. Wherever u find urself, remember you have been called to the ministry of reconciliation, reconciling men to God (2 cor 5:18-20)... In heaven, God is not going to reward u for being a lawyer or doctor or nurse or business man/woman or banker.....He's going to reward you for the souls you won for His Kingdom through your profession... Its time to start propagating God's Kingdom like never before......

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

(SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

At the age of 33,
Jesus was condemned to death .

At the time
Crucifixion was the "worst" death. Only the worst
Criminals were condemned to be crucified. Yet it was
Even more dreadful for Jesus, unlike
Other criminals condemned to death by
Crucifixion Jesus was to be nailed to the
Cross by His hands and feet.

Each nail
Was 6 to 8 inches long.

The nails
Were driven into His wrist. Not
Into His palms as is commonly
Portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that
Extends to the shoulder. The Roman guards knew
That when the nails were being hammered into the
Wrist that tendon would tear and
Break, forcing Jesus to use His back
Muscles to support himself so that He could
Breath.

Both of His feet
Were nailed together. Thus He was forced to
Support Himself on the single nail that
Impaled His feet to the cross. Jesus could
Not support himself with His legs because of the pain
So He was forced to alternate between arching His
Back then using his legs just to continue to
Breath. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the
Suffering, the courage.

Jesus endured this
Reality for over 3 hours.

Yes,
Over 3 hours! Can you imagine this kind of
Suffering? A few minutes before He died,
Jesus stopped bleeding. He was simply pouring water
From his wounds.

From common images
We see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound
To His side... But do we realize His wounds
Were actually made in his body. A hammer
Driving large nails through the wrist, the feet overlapped
And an even large nail hammered through the arches, then a
Roman guard piercing His side with a spear. But
Before the nails and the spear Jesus was whipped and
Beaten. The whipping was so severe that it tore the
Flesh from His body. The beating so horrific that His
Face was torn and his beard ripped from His face. The
Crown of thorns cut deeply into His scalp. Most men
Would not have survived this torture.

He had no more blood
To bleed out, only water poured from His
Wounds.
The human adult body contains about 3.5 liters
(just less than a gallon) of blood.

Jesus poured all 3.5
Liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into His
Members; a crown of thorns on His head and, beyond
That, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into His
Chest..

All these without
Mentioning the humiliation He suffered after carrying His own
Cross for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd spat in his
Face and threw stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight,
Only for its higher part, where His hands were
Nailed).

Jesus had
To endure this experience, to open the
Gates of Heaven,
So that you can have free
Access to God.

So that your sins
Could be "washed" away. All of them, with no exception!
Don't ignore this situation.
God Has plans for you, show all your friends what He experienced
To save you. Now think about this! May God bless your
Life!
