Sometimes ago, we were about to prepare dinner at home, I brought out a fresh Titus fish from the nylon which was brought from the market. Suddenly the one year five months old daughter of our neighbor who stood by watching, started crying and demanding that I give her the fish to eat. I Kept trying to tell her in my own way that the fish was raw, that we  needed to spice it up, cook and then take out the bones so it can be ready for consumption, but The toddler wouldn't hear but chose to cry louder and even fell to the ground and no one was able to comfort her.

I decided to ignore her, went ahead to do what was right and when it was ready, she had her fish and didn't even remember all the drama she had put up. Something then came to my mind that this is how many of us cry for a blessing that is not yet ready.

       God is saying am spicing it up, cooking it and taking out the bones so you don't get choked. If only the little neighbor's daughter knew, she would have waited patiently instead of being anxious.

(Phil.4:6) God is saying to someone here that you be anxious for nothing, Be still and know that God Is spicing up that blessing so you will enjoy to the fullest. Wait on the Lord!

 (Is.40:31) Like Job said..All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change comes.

(Job 14:14) Change is coming, Help is on the way.

DON'T EXPECT YES IN ALL YOUR PRAYER. When God Says NO. God answers all

DON'T EXPECT YES IN ALL YOUR PRAYER.

When God Says NO. God answers all prayers. Sometimes He says yes. Sometimes He says wait. Sometimes He remains silent. Sometimes He says NO. Regardless of what the answer to your prayer is, you need to believe and understand that every answer from God is always for your good or for God’s glory. When God says no it doesn’t mean that God is punishing you and neither does it mean that God is angry with you. God never denies us anything that will benefit us in the long run.

   “The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.” Psalm 84:11. God sees things in the future that we don’t see. If God answered yes to all our prayers we would miss great blessings and our lives would be very miserable. If God removed all the trials and the problem we pray for, we would not have the spiritual stamina and wisdom to face tomorrow’s problems. You’ve got to learn to let God do His will in your life. The will of God will never take you where His grace is not sufficient.

I pray that the grace of God be sufficient to u in JESUS name...............

Accept it  as 'a gift from God' and keep quiet. "When he was getting down from the bus, he paused momentarily at the door, and then handed the 50p to the driver and said, 'Take; the balance you gave me was over'. The driver, with a smile, replied,'Aren't you the new  preacher in town?'  'Yes I am' he replied.'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about where to go to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I give you balance in excess. I'll worship with you at the church this Sunday. When the preacher stepped off the bus, he grabbed a nearby electric pole, looked up and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your  Son for 50 pence. Our lifestyles are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is just a subtle example of how much people watch us as Christians, and will put us to the test! Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your forehead and shoulders once you call yourself a Christian. 'Watch your thoughts;they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character.Watch your character; it becomes your destiny'.

How Defined Is Your Relationship ? ?

"Chinwe and Sam were course mates and fellowship members in the University.
 As a result, they were very close, always doing things together daily. Chinwe misconstrued this as being in a relationship.
Sam, on his own, was enjoying the friendship and was prepared to do
anything for chinwe, who did not hesitate to expose her past and future to sam.

But she never observed that Sam never told her about his own life.

All brothers that desired to marry chinwe thought she was already engaged to Sam.

After schooling, they were both posted to the North for service. As a result, they both exchanged regular visits.

After service, they returned to Lagos and got good employment.
Six months later, Sam sent his wedding invitation card to Chinwe, who was so affected that it landed her in the hospital.

When Sam was queried, he said he never thought of marrying
her as he was already engaged before meeting her. He concluded that he only saw her like his
younger sister and nothing more.

When Chinwe was confronted with the fact that sam never proposed marriage to her, she was dazed.It was then she realised her folly".

This is very common among youths. They assume about relationship most of the time,
thereby setting up themselves for great disappointment.

The danger is, everybody will assume you are engaged while you are hoping the brother is
taking his time and will propose soonest.

WHAT TO DO

1. As a lady, define all your relationships. If a brother is becoming too close without disclosing his intention, ask him what he wants from you.

2. Don't be too close to any brother to the point that people will start to insinuates.

3. Never allow a brother propose with proverbs or idioms to you. Pretend as if you don't know what
he is saying until he comes straight.
For example, if he says, "Let me be the umbrella on your head", tell him, "I am not in the sun and i do
not need an umbrella".

4. Avoid cooking for brothers unnecessarily. Most brothers love food and will do anything to keep
the source of their good food, even if it means pretending they are in love.

5. Do not help a brother by proposing for him.

ANY BROTHER THAT IS NOT BOLD ENOUGH TO PROPOSE TO YOU IS NOT OLD ENOUGH TO BE
YOUR HUSBAND. Brothers should be bold to propose simply, concisely and directly without
proverbs or idioms.

6. Get a direct "YES" or "NO" from a lady; do not assume..

Wherever u find urself, remember you have been called to the ministry of reconciliation, reconciling men to God (2 cor 5:18-20)... In heaven, God is not going to reward u for being a lawyer or doctor or nurse or business man/woman or banker.....He's going to reward you for the souls you won for His Kingdom through your profession... Its time to start propagating God's Kingdom like never before......

Crucifixion Jesus was to be nailed to the
Cross by His hands and feet.

Each nail
Was 6 to 8 inches long.

The nails
Were driven into His wrist. Not
Into His palms as is commonly
Portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that
Extends to the shoulder. The Roman guards knew
That when the nails were being hammered into the
Wrist that tendon would tear and
Break, forcing Jesus to use His back
Muscles to support himself so that He could
Breath.

Both of His feet
Were nailed together. Thus He was forced to
Support Himself on the single nail that
Impaled His feet to the cross. Jesus could
Not support himself with His legs because of the pain
So He was forced to alternate between arching His
Back then using his legs just to continue to
Breath. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the
Suffering, the courage.

Jesus endured this
Reality for over 3 hours.

Yes,
Over 3 hours! Can you imagine this kind of
Suffering? A few minutes before He died,
Jesus stopped bleeding. He was simply pouring water
From his wounds.

From common images
We see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound
To His side... But do we realize His wounds
Were actually made in his body. A hammer
Driving large nails through the wrist, the feet overlapped
And an even large nail hammered through the arches, then a
Roman guard piercing His side with a spear. But
Before the nails and the spear Jesus was whipped and
Beaten. The whipping was so severe that it tore the
Flesh from His body. The beating so horrific that His
Face was torn and his beard ripped from His face. The
Crown of thorns cut deeply into His scalp. Most men
Would not have survived this torture.

He had no more blood
To bleed out, only water poured from His
Wounds.
The human adult body contains about 3.5 liters
(just less than a gallon) of blood.

Jesus poured all 3.5
Liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into His
Members; a crown of thorns on His head and, beyond
That, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into His
Chest..

All these without
Mentioning the humiliation He suffered after carrying His own
Cross for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd spat in his
Face and threw stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight,
Only for its higher part, where His hands were
Nailed).

Jesus had
To endure this experience, to open the
Gates of Heaven,
So that you can have free
Access to God.

So that your sins
Could be "washed" away. All of them, with no exception!
Don't ignore this situation.
God Has plans for you, show all your friends what He experienced
To save you. Now think about this! May God bless your
Life!

My name is Adesewa.I was raised by God-fearing parents who
were blessed with six girls.My parents were deacon and
deaconess in a pentecostal church.I happened to be their third
daughter,with three younger ones.
I had my HND at Yaba college of technology and was posted to
Kwara state for my youth service.
I had given my life to Christ since my secondary school
days,and i used to sing a lot, sometimes i even compose my own
song.I joined d church choir when i was just nine years old.
After d 3 weeks orientation programme of d NYSC,i was posted
to a secondary school at Oyan for d one year service. I was
given a room on d school compound at d Corper’s quarters.
On getting to Oyan,i started looking for a pentecostal church
where i could be worshipping,and soon i was able to find one.
Shortly after i started worshipping in d church,i joined d
choir.Fortunately,it was at d time when d choir leader just left
the  church,and there was nobody to coordinate the
members..before i knew it,i was made the choir leader after
being interviewed by the  pastor,Pastor Williams.
I was loved by everybody in the church,especially the
choiristers,because of my unique voice.Whenever i sing or lead a
song,d whole congregation has a way of murmuring
“Huuuuunnnnn!” with a sigh of satisfaction when they hear my
voice.
Most of the choir members were younger than me,so they call me
“aunty” or “Sister Sewa”.
One of them was Bode,who used to play keyboard for us in the
church. He was so gifted when it comes to instruments,there
was no instrument he couldnt play. I always felt the  presence of
God whenever he was on keyboard.
I was named Adesewa after my late grandmother,who passed
away shortly before i was born. My dad loved his mum so
much,and hence transferred the  love to me,believing that his late
mother was d one who came back,moreso,according to him,i was
the mama’s carbon copy. It was after he became saved,that he
knew he was wrong. My second name was Yetunde.
My dad saw me as perfect. Anything i did or said was
right,even when i myself knew i was wrong. In a nutshell,i was
his favourite.
When my mum noticed that daddy was treating me like the  apple of
his eyes,she wasnt taking things easy with me at all. She spank
me at every slight mistake i made,mostly when my dad wasnt
at home.
Sometimes she would lament..”You this  spoilt brat!. Your father has
spoilt you. See,i will make sure i deal with you before maggots start
coming out of your body….”                      
My two elder sisters too,also made life miserable for me,
especially,the  first born,sister Temi. She would never tolerate
any nonsense from me,she took after mummy,but her own was
just too much.
By the  time i was serving,sister Temi and sister Tiwa have
married,but i have been tamed already.

After Stephen had prayed, the bible records "HE
FELL ASLEEP". I was really excited while reading this.
"He fell asleep" it wasn't stated that "He died" No!
Christians don't die, they transcend from this dirty,
corrupt, deadly, abominable world into a glorious home in heaven. When a true child of God has
ended his race here on earth, HE SLEEPS and wakes
up at the other side, the side of joy everlasting,
hope and peace which will never end.
The believer will then be rewarded for all the
shame, poverty, humiliation, agony, suffering, betrayal, denial and all the awful experiences here
on earth and this is why these things should never
move you. ONE MINUTE IN HEAVEN HAS PAID YOU
BACK AND EVEN MORE THAN WHAT YOU INVESTED,
AND THE GOODNEWS IS THAT YOU'RE GOING TO
REIGN WITH JESUS FOREVER. PLEASE... "DON'T MISS HEAVEN". God bless you

My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body. Through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct Answer..

When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, 'My ears, Mommy..'

She said, 'No. Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon..'

Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer..

So this time I told her, 'Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes..'

She looked at me and told me, 'You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind..'

Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, 'No. But you are getting smarter every year, my child..'

Then one year, my grandfather died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried..

I remember that especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry..

My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to my Grandfather..

She asked me, 'Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear??'

I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me..

She saw the confusion on my face and told me, 'This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you were wrong and I have given you an example why..

But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson..' 

She looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, 'My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder..'

I asked, 'Is it because it holds up my head??'

She replied, 'No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it..'

Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is made for others and not for yourself. It is sympathetic to the pain of others..

People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did . But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel..

Now that we are celebrating Valentine, Jesus is saying "ONE OF YOU WILL BETRAY ME" and I know many will say "SURELY IS NOT ME"
but I tell anyone who celebrate this Valentine's without Jesus, that is to say sleeping with thus you are saying my BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND, or take it a day of drinking etc,
Jesus is replied "YOU ARE THE ONE"
